Let's start at the top: The spout on the Safe Sippy is unlike any other. It looks different because it is different. Studies have shown that the usual wide sippy spouts can cause physical and speech development problems in children. Speech researchers have discovered that the best sippy top is a straw-shaped top, hence the innovative shape of the Safe Sippy spout. Inside the spout is a silicone valve, making the Safe Sippy leak-free.

Safety is top proiority: All plastics used in the Safe Sippy cup are Bis phenol A (BPA) and phthalate free. This means you can rest assured the cup your child drinks from has nothing in it except, well, the drink.

Clean in, Clean out: The inside of the Safe Sippy is non-leaching, medical grade stainless steel. Toxin-free, you can leave liquids in this cup without worrying about chemical leaching. We do recommend you wash it, regularly, though. And good news, it's all dishwasher safe!

Get a Grip: This cup is easy to hang on to. Little hands will love the handles, with nubs to make gripping easier, no matter what messes they may have gotten in to. And for those cool kids who are too old for handles, mom can take them right off. The body of the Safe Sippy is tapered and ribbed for easy gripping without handles.

Rough and Tumble: To keep the stainless steel from denting, the top of the Safe Sippy is slightly larger than the cup. The bottom of the cup is coated in thermoplastic rubber. Not just fancy words, this coating provides a cushion should the cup be dropped or hurled across the room by your sweet child. This coating also helps to keep cold beverages cold, perfect for when it's hot outside.
