The Moby Wrap is a stretchy wrap carrier that is one of the most snuggly and easy-to-use baby slings. Some people are intimidated by the length of the fabric. It is over five yards of a stretchy cotton knit. There is only one basic way to wrap it around yourself, however, and once you've got that mastered, you're able to do many different carries.
The stretch in the fabric allows just enough give so that you can pop baby in and out. It's common for moms of newborns to put the Moby Wrap on in the morning and not take it off until the evening, putting baby in and out of the carrier as needed throughout the day. Some will even keep the Moby Wrap tied around them while in the car (baby is of course in the carseat!) and then put baby in the wrap once the destination is reached. The carrier is really comfortable with or without your baby inside. It feels like a soft cotton tee shirt.
