Duralex is a household name in its homeland of France. In the '60s and '70s these dishes were purchased by the thousands for schools in France, where their excellent durability was praised. We're pleased to bring these dishes to US families, under the name Kidishes!
Kidishes are made from tempered glass. Tempering is a process which rapidly heats and cools the glass, and the resulting product is 4 to 5 times stronger than traditional glass. And if the glass should break, the resulting pieces are smooth and safe! No sharp edges!

If you have purchased Kidishes from us in the past, please note that we now offer different sizes! The Kidishes you purchased from us in the past were probably the large size bowl and cup. But to make sure we get you matching sets, please measure your current Kidishes. We are happy to help you create matching sets.
