Gro Baby was introduced in April of 2009 and was an instant success. While a two-piece diaper system is nothing new, this system was the first to make a one-size diaper with multiple options so you can truly customize your baby's diaper to fit her needs and your lifestyle. In May of 2010, GroBaby was rebranded as the GroVia Hybrid Diaper. The entire line of products has been streamlined and there is now a diaper to fit every family and every lifestyle.
The GroVia shell is a waterproof diaper cover that can adjust to three sizes. The row of snaps on the front of the diaper allow you to snap down the rise, allowing it to fit newborn babies as well as toddlers. The top of the GroVia shell is unlike any other diaper. Soft fleece surrounds the front, making it comfortable for your baby, and innovative touch tape grabs this fleece without using scratchy velcro that can irritate tender skin or pick up lint in the wash. GroVia shells can be converted to snaps for free within 6 months of purchase, or choose one of the GroVia Snap shells. On the inside of the cover is breathable mesh, allowing air to circulate, which reduces rash and keeps your child cool and comfortable.
The absorbent piece of your GroVia Hybrid System is the soaker pads. Available in both organic cotton and biodegradable disposable liners, you have the choice of customizing the inside of the diaper to fit your needs. Organic cotton boosters are also available to add extra absorbency for stay-dry nights.
If you are purchasing GroVia diapers for your new baby, you will want 12-14 shells and a total of 36 soaker pads. If your baby is older, a full set of Gro Baby diapers can be accomplished with 6-8 shells and a total of 24 soaker pads. Either of these set ups will allow you to wash every other day.
