The biggest benefit to the Goodbyn is there is no need for small containers that get lost or don't make it home from school! The Goodbyn is just two pieces, the bottom container and the lid.

Goodbyn is made in the USA from polypropelene plastic (PP #5), the safest FDA approved plastic. The included water bottle is high-density polyethelene, also FDA approved. All plastics used in the Goodbyn are free of lead, BPA and phthalates.

Goodbyn is recommended for ages 5 and up. Younger children may have trouble closing the Goodbyn. Due to its unique design, the Goodbyn must be closed a certain way so that each of the individual compartments will seal. Parents will quickly learn to start by sealing the center of the box, then the lower center 'spines' and finally the top and edges. Kids will probably not be able to completely seal the box in this way, but assuming they only need to close the box after they have eaten their lunch, then there should not be an issue. They will be able to get the top to close, but it will not seal each individual compartment.
