The Foogo Food Cup is great for snacks on the go while keeping your child's food safe from harmful plastics. The cup is double-walled stainless steel, with a vacuum sealed space between. This space insulates, helping to keep hot foods hot and cold foods cold, for up to 7 hours!

Just recently the FDA recognized that plastics can leech into foods stored inside and some of these plastics contain chemicals that can be harmful for human consumption. The chemical that is getting the most press is Bisphenol A, or BPA. BPA is found in many plastics, including those marked with a recycling number 7, or those made with polycarbonate (sometimes identified on containers with the letters "PC").

Plastics can react with foods or drink placed inside them, especially hot or acidic foods, and deposit chemicals into the contents. These chemicals then enter you or your child's body. Children are most at risk for consuming BPA, due to the large amount of plastics used for their food and drinks.

All plastics marked with numbers 3 and 6 should also not be used for food or drink. The longer food or liquid sits in a container, the more likely it is to absorb chemicals from the plastics.
