Once again we’ll be doing one of the funnest sales events of the year, Candy Cane Discounts!

It’s a little different this year than it has been in years past. This year the discounts aren’t restricted to just certain items. You can get 5-40% off any item or your entire order! Come on in and shop with us and have some fun!

With our new deals there are few differences with how we will run this discount, so please read on and play fair so we can all have fun!

#1 – One candy cane per customer. Customers shopping together may get one discount each, but they must be used on their own order. No swapping discounts.

#2 – You will not draw your discount until checkout. So have fun shopping, make a pile if you like. Once you are ready to check out, we will ring up all applicable items (see below for items that do not qualify). After those items are in our computer, you can pull your candy cane from our stocking and will will apply the discount!

#3 – All cloth diapers and baby carriers are excluded from this promotion. If you are purchasing cloth diapers and baby carriers along with other items, we will ring up the other items first, do your discount, and then add the cloth and carriers.

#4 – Items that are already on sale will not be given an additional discount. These items will be reserved and rung up after your discount is applied to the other items in your order.

#5 – Once your discount is drawn no additions! Sorry! We know you’ll be super thrilled if you draw one of the 40% off everything candy canes, but you need to decide what you’re purchasing before drawing and we won’t allow you to add on any other discount-able items after the percent-off is applied.

#6 – In-store merchandise only. No special orders. No other discounts can be used with your candy cane deal.

#7 – Enjoy the candy cane!

We’re going to have a little fun this holiday with a special Bonus Bucks promotion! We’re starting today, November 21, and it will be going through the weekend. Here’s how it will work:

1. You must have an account at Sprout Soup to participate. This means we have your name and information in our computer so we can calculate your Bonus Bucks! As part of your account we need to have your email address so we can send you your Bonus Bucks coupon, so if we haven’t emailed you receipts or you are unsure if we have your email, please double check or you cannot participate in Bonus Bucks!
2. $5 Bonus Bucks per $25 spent from Monday, November 21 through Wednesday, November 23. On these three days, it doesn’t matter what you purchase, anything goes! We’ll calculate your Bonus Bucks in $25 increments, so if you’re at $49, pick up a little something extra to get to that $50 so we can award you $10 in Bonus Bucks! Please note: tax and shipping charges (if applicable) are not included when calculating Bonus Bucks. Bonus Bucks are not awarded on gift certificates and cannot be used on gift certificates. Bonus Bucks for these three days are cumulative, we will add together multiple purchases and award you the highest amount we can.
3. Black Friday through Cyber Monday, certain items are eligible for one Bonus Buck for each item purchased. These items include, but are not limited to: Bummis wraps, Thirsties Fab Fitteds and Duo-Diapers, FuzziBunz Diapers, Bluberry Trainers and Super Undies. For each of the items you purchase that are eligible, you will receive one Bonus Buck added to your total.
4. Bonus Bucks will be awarded between November 29 and December 3. Watch your email! You may use your Bonus Bucks beginning December 4 and they will expire on December 10. No refunds for unused Bonus Bucks. Bonus Bucks are like cash and can be used on any item except gift certificates, but are not valid on special orders. Bonus Bucks will be saved in your account for that week, no need to print your notification email. They will be removed from your account on December 11.

New Sprout Soup Location

We’ve been operating as a physical retail store at 4310 N High St for three years now. When the opportunity came to move to a bigger and better location we took it! It feels strange to be leaving our first home, but we are excited about the possibilities in our new space!

So where is it? The new location is still on High Street in Clintonville, not too far from where we are currently. We are moving to the South side of North Broadway, into the heart of Clintonville where we know many of our customers can walk to us, and hopefully we’ll make some new friends in that thriving neighborhood.

What’s nearby? Landmarks that you might be familiar with to help you find us are Rag-O-Rama, we’ll be right across the street. We’re in the same block, and right between SoBo Style and Corner Stone Deli. The address for the store is 3286 N High Street, Columbus, 43202.

What about parking? Those of you who come in from the ‘burbs and are used to sprawling parking lots might be a bit concerned about visiting us in a neighborhood where parking on the street is the norm. Please don’t panic! There are plenty of spaces right in front of our store on the street (easiest to get in to if you’re coming from the South and driving North). You’re also welcome to park in any of the marked street spaces on either side of High Street, and take the time to wander into some of the other gems Clintonville has to offer. None of the street parking is metered, and on our block you are welcome to park there 24 hours a day, there are no restricted times for rush hour.

But if you’re not fond of parking on the street, we do have spaces behind our building where you may park. Enter the alley from E Longview and park in the first gravel lot on the right. You may also use the paved parking lot on the corner of N High and E Longview. Remember to bring your baby carrier, or rent one from us! Walking with your baby will be enjoyable in this area of town.

Any other exciting additions? With our new location we will have a large, separate meeting area for our classes and groups. We’re calling it the Peaceful Sprout Community Room and you are welcome to rent it to use for family-friendly classes, events, birthday parties and baby showers! Located next door at 3292 N High Street, the Community Room has it’s own entrance, access to a kitchen and restrooms. Please contact us if you are interested in hosting classes or events in this space.

When is it all happening? We hope to be up and running in our new digs on Tuesday, September 13. In order to make this happen, we will be closed Sunday, September 11. Saturday, September 10 is your last chance to shop with us in our current location. As if you need any more incentive to shop at Sprout Soup, we will be having a huge moving sale from August 30 through September 10.

Remember there are a few new rules and differences for the swap this time around. Most of these refer to Cloth Diapers. Please take note:

• Pocket diapers should be sold with their insert stuffed inside. We recommend that you add extra inserts to pockets if you have them instead of selling inserts separately.
• We will not accept for sale any item priced under $2. You may donate items less than this amount to our discount/free bin.
• We will not accept heavily stained or extremely worn-out items for sale. These may also be donated to the discount/free bin.
• We will not accept the following brands for sale: Kushies, Bumkins. These may be donated to the discount/free bin.
• We do not accept clothing, baby gear, toys, or bedding.
