What if I don’t like any of the carriers I tried?
You can sign up for another rental period and your rental fees will be added to your previous rental fees.
What if I don’t want to purchase a new carrier?
You are under no obligation to purchase a new carrier from Sprout Soup, but your rental fees will not be returned to you.
I really like one of the carriers that I am renting, can I purchase it?
Yes you may! Contact us and let us know which carrier you like. In some cases we will discount the rental carrier up to 10% PLUS deduct your rental fees. The rental carrier discount depends on how long the carrier has been in our rotation.
Can I wash the rental carrier?
We ask that you do not wash the rental carriers. Before we send it out, each rental carrier is washed in Charlie’s Soap and air dried, then tossed in the dryer on high heat for 10 minutes. This process ensures our rental carriers are clean and do not carry parasites, pet hair or dander. We ask that you do not wash the carriers on your own because our process is the most gentle on the carriers, yet still effective. If your baby spits up on the carrier or gets dirty in any other way, please spot clean it with a wet towel, but leave deep cleaning for us.
Why do I have to wait a week (or more) for my order to ship?
Our rental program has been very popular and in order to serve our customers the best way possible, we’ve instituted a schedule. By shipping twice a month, we can expect all rentals to be returned at the same time, meaning we can wash them all together (by far the most time-consuming process, but this is also more eco-friendly than washing one or two at a time
) and then pack and ship together. This really speeds up the time from order to shipping, even though it might not seem like it.
How can I tell which carriers are available for renting?
We rent all of the carriers we sell. We have between 2 and 6 rental carriers available for each brand and carrier. The carriers that are currently available will show up on our carrier rental page. If you don’t see the carrier you want, it is probably not available right now. Wait until the 8th or the 23rd of the month when we will stock carriers for the next shipping period and your chosen carriers will probably be available.
